Classic Arbitration

1. The claimant starts initiates the procedure of arbitration by informing the inimical party (defendant) by advisable registered letter (notification).
2. The claimant then consigns a request of arbitration to the Institute of Arbitration.
3. In principle the procedure is conducted in writing, but either party can always ask for an audience.
4. The parties are informed by registerded letter of the composition of the Arbitral Court.
5. After exchanging their findings, the parties receive the award +/- 4 later.
6. According to the Standard Dispute Rules each party has the right to an appeal. The appeal procedure is completed within +/- 6 months and the decision is pronounced by a college of three arbitrators.
