Emoluments
Doctor X works in a hospital in his town. He believed he had a good contract, but the hospital director refuses to pay part of his fees.
Engineer X, Managing Director of a Japanese company has a contract an independent. After five years a conflict emerges with the shareholders. He doesn't want a suit that lasts 10 years.
Members of the board have an agreement about their emoluments. One member disagreees with it.
Disciplinary council
Some federations need external arbitration to adhere to their internal rules. It’s easier to accept a verdict from an external court. It creases injury and mistrust between the board members and the management.
